Raffi is a sweet little character who is new to the shelter and has already been stealing hearts.
As with most Beagles, he is naturally affectionate and is good with other dogs and cats but, with his curious nose and nature to roam, a fenced yard is best. His short coat is remarkably easy to care for so that he requires little grooming with only an occasional bath.
At six years old, Raffi weighs just over 35lb. and is great with adults and older kids but is not keen on babies or toddlers.

The Shelter offers a safe place for pets that have no choices left. “Sometimes, their owners have had no choice either. They, too, may have aged and had to move into a facility where their loved companions are not allowed or, in the final step of life, may have died leaving their pets behind. Whatever the reason, these faithful friends have no choice but to wait … wait for someone new to take them in and love them,” says Shelter Manager, Deb Takeda.
