Pet of the Week: An affectionate long-haired beauty

Grey Bruce Animal Shelter offers a safe place for pets who have no choices left.
“Sometimes, their owners have had no choice either. They, too, may have aged and had to move into a facility where their loved companions are not allowed or, in the final step of life, may have died leaving their pets behind,” says Shelter Manager, Deb Takeda.  “Whatever the reason, these faithful friends have no choice but to wait … wait for someone new to take them in and love them.”

Meet Molly. She’s a two-year-old long-haired beauty with a personality to match.

Molly is very affectionate and has been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations.

She’ll be available very soon to go to her forever home. Please call the shelter at 519-372-1911 to meet Molly.

The Grey Bruce Animal Shelter is incredibly grateful for in-kind donations to its animals. “Our small shelter re-homes over 100 cats and dogs annually,” says Takeda.  “We rely on the generosity of the public to support our life-saving work and we have a wish list of items that we most desperately need.  We also appreciate gift cards for gasoline, pet supplies or hardware from stores such as Canadian Tire and Home Hardware:”
