These are two short comical stories that happened in Gander Newfoundland – even though this was a very tragic time in our history – 9/11 – these stories illustrate the welcoming and caring of the people of Gander for the folks who were stranded from the 38 flights. These stories are examples of true Canadian heroes during a very challenging time.
