Spring arrived late last night (March 19th) and today, March 20th, is officially the first full day of Spring, although it doesn’t look like it.
According to Environment Canada, there is a snow squall watch in place which is expected to include lake effect snow squalls into Thursday along the shores of Lake Huron, with up to 35cm possible.
The cold front sweeping into the area is bringing with it northwest winds gusting up to 70km/h and, combined with the anticipated squalls, is expected to result in reduced visibilities and whiteouts.
While March came in like a ‘lamb’ with warm temperatures, it appears that it may be going out like a ‘lion’.
