Woodstock male charged with seven counts related to child pornography

On March 3, 2021, Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Woodstock Police Service along with members of OPP Digital Forensics, executed a search warrant at a residence in Woodstock, Ontario following an online child sexual exploitation investigation.

As a result of this investigation, a 38-year old male was arrested and charged with seven counts of making pornography by the written word, seven counts of distributing child pornography and twelve (12) counts of harassing communication.  Three exhibits were seized for further examination.

The accused appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock by video and was released with conditions.
