Bruce County GPS project seeking county-wide input

In August, Bruce County launched Bruce GPS, an initiative to encourage those who live, work and visit to share their thoughts and help guide the future growth and development of Bruce County’s Official Plan. The Bruce GPS project aims to create a collaborative vision addressing the social, physical, economic, environmental, health and well-being needs and goals of our communities and will guide the next 20 years of growth and development in Bruce County.

As part of the commitment to meaningful community engagement throughout the Bruce GPS process, Bruce County staff invite residents, visitors, businesses, community groups, and other key stakeholders to provide input at one of the following stakeholder sessions:

1. Thurs. Nov 1, 7-9pm, Kincardine – Davidson Centre

2. Sat. Nov 3, 2-4pm, Wiarton – Wiarton Arena & Community Centre

3. Thurs. Nov 8, 7-9pm, Walkerton – Walkerton Agricultural Society Hall

Those unable to attend are encouraged to visit www.BruceGPS.ca for more information about the project, including alternative participation options and broader public engagement initiatives. Bruce GPS is also active on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @BruceGPS.
