Bruce Power is excited to once again support the celebration of Wiarton Willie’s annual Groundhog Day prognostication on Feb. 2.
Willie’s prediction of either six more weeks of winter or an early spring will be live-streamed to a worldwide audience.
Bruce Power has signed on as both the Platinum and Gold sponsor from 2022-26. Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power’s President and CEO, will join the Wiarton Willie Shadow Cabinet as the Minister of Excitement and Energy.

Janice Jackson, Mayor of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula and Warden of Bruce County, welcomed Rencheck to the Shadow Cabinet and invited the community to join in the virtual celebrations.

Wiarton Willie’s 66th annual prediction will be livestreamed on the Town of South Bruce Peninsula YouTube channel, beginning at 7:55 a.m. on Feb. 2.
