It’s time again to “Celebrate Canada!” with fireworks and festivities.
At the Big Flag in Southampton on July 1st, the celebration begins with the Rotary BBQ starting at 4:00 p.m. on High Street at the Flag. The Rotarians will also have their buckets out to collect donation that help make the fireworks FREE event.
Everyone is encouraged to bike to the Celebration where there will be valet parking and security starting at 5:00 p.m. courtesy of the Town of Saugeen Shores, Southampton BIA and Martin’s Bicycle Shop.
Before the fireworks begin at dusk, there will be a chance to enjoy some local entertainment beginning at 7:30 p.m. with the Southampton Community Band and the Chantry Singers.
