Celebrating Labour Day – Workers are the Recovery

It is vital for workers to help in defining the terms of the COVID-19 recovery, and that is why Labour’s theme for Labour Day this year is “Workers Are The Recovery”.

This Labour Day, the Grey Bruce Labour Council looks forward to representing a strong, united labour movement, working together to champion the best policies for workers. There is no moving forward without decent jobs, a more equitable economy and strong public health care and public education.

Labour Day 2021 is a muted celebration, but the Grey Bruce Labour Council will mark the day in any way that is possible. This will include mainstream media, social media and likely a small COVID compliant gathering in Owen Sound on Labour Day week-end.

Details will be posted as soon as they are available.

The Grey Bruce Labour Council wishes everyone a safe and happy Labour Day.
