Community spirit and creativity shine at the 2025 Artisans Holiday Show & Sale

At the annual Artisans Holiday Show & Sale, more than 2,000 visitors filled the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound with an outcome that was nothing short of heartwarming.

With the community’s generous support, the 2025 show raised $7,345.70 for CMHA Grey Bruce’s Youth and Adult Education programs, bringing the four-year fundraising total to more than $21,000.

Highlights from the Weekend
• A festive, bustling atmosphere — More than 60 talented artisans from across Grey Bruce and beyond filled the venue with
handcrafted jewellery, woodwork, textiles, ceramics, gourmet foods, natural skincare, and seasonal décor.
• Friday Night Sip ’n Shop — The weekend kicked off Friday evening with complimentary holiday mocktails for guests, creating a warm, social start to the weekend’s festivities.
• Fresh Roots Café & Catering — Visitors enjoyed delicious meals, baked goods, and refreshments throughout the weekend from Fresh Roots, a CMHA social enterprise known for its flavourful, well-loved offerings. Their presence added to the community-minded atmosphere and was a highlight for many returning attendees.
• Generosity beyond the price of admission — While the nominal door fee was $3, many visitors contributed additional donations. Combined with tap payments processed separately, those extra gifts significantly boosted this year’s total.

Every dollar raised goes directly to CMHA Grey Bruce’s youth and adult education initiatives that deliver mental health awareness, early intervention, support services, and community outreach across the region.

The renewed success this year underscores the community’s commitment to mental wellness, local artistry, and shared holiday spirit.

The Artisans’ Holiday Show & Sale Committee extends its heartfelt thanks to every artisan, visitor, volunteer, and partner who contributed to this year’s success.

The committee also gratefully acknowledges the support of the 2025 sponsors — Brand Realty Group, The Creative Hairstyling Boutique, and Liberty Tax Owen Sound — whose contributions helped make this community fundraiser possible.

A special thank you goes out to Megan Gillespie for beautifully decorating the stage space, creating a warm and festive focal point for the show.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year.
