Gospel in the Country is back

After a one year break due to Covid 19, Gospel in the Country will be back on Saturday, August 21st.

The  first concert was in 2018 with over 300 people coming for the all day Saturday concert. In 2019, over 400 people attended this all weekend concert event. Then COVID  hit and we had to cancel for 2020.

This year there is a new format with three separate concerts featuring outstanding gospel groups held in a safe outdoor environment and very picturesque country setting.

The first  concert at 12:15 pm will feature the acapella group, “Surrendered”. This group of men want nothing more than to sing our Saviour’s praises – a truly God anointed group.

The second concert at 3:45 pm will be the well known group “The Chapelaires” This group of four have sung across North America on some of the largest concert sites. They give beautiful praise and worship to God. We are really blessed to have them come to our little piece of Heaven here in Grey County.

Our final concert will be at 7:00 pm and will be the “The Torchmen”. These gentlemen have sung everywhere in Canada and the USA. The blessing God provides is incredible as they share the Gospel through song.

Ticket prices are per concert with each ticket being $20.00. If you purchase two or more tickets, the ticket price is reduced to $15.00. There is a family rate of $50.00( two adults and up to three children). Children 7 and under are free. There is a limit of 150 tickets per concert.

For tickets, further information or package deals, contact Paul Braeker at 226-749-3441 or by email at gospelinthecountry@gmail.com.

All of the extra proceeds will go to support Ethnos Canada and Mission Zimbabwe at Hope Community Church.  The event will be held on the farm of Paul and Elaine Breaker, southeast of Durham at 244022 Southgate Rd.(Country Rd. 24).
