Did you know? All Smart Serve Ontario certificates issued BEFORE July 1, 2018 expire on June 30, 2023 at 11:59 pm. If your business requires staff to have this certification, please share this information with them.On November 9, 2021, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) announced they were introducing a new 5-year Smart Serve recertification requirement, effective July 1, 2022.
For anyone holding a certificate issued PRIOR to July 1, 2018, it will expire on June 30, 2023.
Anyone certified on or after July 1, 2018, will have 5-years, from the date of issue, to re-certify.
It is the certificate holder’s responsibility to re-certify BEFORE their certificate expires. All valid Smart Serve certificate holders can re-certify for a discounted price of $29.95 if you do so prior to your certificate expiring.To renew your Smart Serve certificate:

- Take the proctored Final Test (mobile friendly)
- Download, save or print your eCertificate
