Fall at the Outdoor Education Centre (OEC) means it’s time for the Fall Fling!
The Fling is a major fundraiser for the OEC that provides outdoor educational opportunities for students within the Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB).
The Centre offers a full roster of high quality, curriculum-driven, outdoor and environmental education experiences for BWDSB students.
Each year, approximately 2,000 students experience the great outdoors at the Centre’s 320 acre site and the surrounding UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
The OEC encourages outdoor skills development and a healthy, active lifestyle through time spent out of doors. It fosters a value and understanding of the connection to nature and how to choose decision for a healthy planet.
