Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Millers has raised concerns over the prices of gas in the area of Owen Sound with a letter directly to the Competition Bureau.
In the letter, he points out the discrepancies in gas prices in rural Ontario that have varied as much as ten cents per litre in towns that are only a matter of 30 minutes away from each other in distance.
According to Miller, “The bottom line is that something must be done.” He adds that retailers and wholesalers must operate in a fair manner that respects consumers.
