Readers out-and-about in Jerusalem

Our readers in Jerusalem recently sent photos that depict the dichotomy of weather in their home country.

“Taken about 15 min before sunrise, the  Earth’s diminishing shadow is visible as a greyish band over the horizon, plus a nearly full moon with Jerusalem in the background: dawn of a new day in our Holy City.”

Then, on January 27th, the city experienced a rare snowfall that resulted in schools being closed.  “It was a chance for students to get out and enjoy the snow.”
