Wanda Swanson of Shallow Lake is celebrating after winning a $250,000top prize with INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE(Game #3353).
Wanda is celebrating her first big win after playing weekly for decades. “My game of choice has always been CROSSWORD. I enjoy the time it takes to play the game,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.
“I was at home watching TV when I played my ticket. I started to match a lot of words and I said to my husband, ‘I think I won the big one!’ I had to pull out my phone and double check on the OLG app. I saw the Big Winner screen and I was shocked! It’s a pretty surreal experience. This win brings me so many wonderful opportunities.”
The married mother and grandmother plans to share her winning with her husband and children. “I look forward to planning a special bucket list trip for my husband and I,” Wanda concluded.
