Women’s Centre Grey Bruce to host 1st Annual Charity Golf Classic

The Women’s Centre Grey Bruce is hosting its first Annual Charity Golf Classic on Thursday, July 4th at Legacy Ridge Golf Club with registration at 3:30pm. For only $125/per person, the Classic includes 9-hole golf with cart, roast beef dinner, silent auction, raffle prizes and a 50/50 draw.
“I am so excited to announce and be a part of this new fundraising event for The Women’s Centre,” says Heather Sheldrick, Executive Director.  “It is part of our strategic plan to build on community partnerships. This first Annual Charity Golf Classic is a 9-hole scramble tournament with a shotgun start so that players of all levels and abilities can join in the fun and finish at the same time to enjoy the evening’s festivities.”
“Planning new events, like the Golf Classic will help get the word out about our programs and services to support women, children and at-risk youth affected by abuse in Grey and Bruce Counties,” adds Sheldrick. “It is very rewarding to see our team’s vision in planning this event come to fruition, and I hope the day is a great success!”
