Seventeen-year-old Braeden Ashton, member of the Saugeen Shores Breakers Swim Team recently competed at the Ontario Team Challenge in Markham.
His impressive swim in the 50-free set a new club record of 25.06 seconds!
Ashton’s major goal for this year’s swim season was to break the 31-year-old record set by Kelly Steeves back in 1987.
Braeden hopes his record will be as long standing as his predecessor’s.
