CHARGES LAID IN FATAL COLLISION
On June 17, 2022, at approximately 6:39 p.m., the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), West Grey Police Service, West Grey Fire Department and Grey County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a motor vehicle, and a motorcycle on Highway 6 in the Township of West Grey.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the Durham Hospital where they were pronounced deceased. They have been identified as Bailey DUROCHER, 24 years-of-age from the Township of Georgian-Bluffs.
The Grey Bruce OPP have arrested and charged a 62 year-old male from Utopia with the following offences:
· Operation while impaired.
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
· Operation causing death (Two Counts)
The accused was released with a future court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound.
The Grey Bruce OPP are continuing the investigation with the assistance of the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team (TIME).

FOUR FACING CHARGES AFTER BREAK AND ENTERS
On June 16, 2022, at 12:59 a.m., The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break-and-enter in progress on Williams Lake Road in the Township of Chatsworth.
Police arrived on scene and located a motor vehicle containing four occupants. During the investigation, it was determined that the occupants were linked to break-and-enters in the area, and they were placed under arrest.
The following individuals are facing charges:
A 42-year-old male from Chatsworth Township.
· Break, enter a dwelling house with the intent to commit indictable offence
· Possession break in instruments
A 27-year-old male from Grey Highlands.
· Break, enter a dwelling house with the intent to commit indictable offence
· Possession break in instruments
A 42-year-old female from Amaranth.
· Break, enter a dwelling house with the intent to commit indictable offence
· Possession break in instruments
· Driving while under suspension
· Use plate not authorized for vehicle
A 30-year-old male from Southgate.
· Break, enter a dwelling house with the intent to commit indictable offence
· Possession break in instruments
The accused parties were released with a future court date to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound.
