Get a Smile, Give a Smile begins today – April 29th

Get a Smile, Give a Smile, Make a Difference – Tim Hortons® Smile Cookie Campaign is Back!

For one week, from now until May 5th, restaurant owners donate 100% ($1) from every freshly baked chocolate chunk Smile Cookie purchased to support local charities and every $1 makes a difference.

Last year, more than $15 million was donated to local charities, hospitals and community groups across Canada.

The first-ever Smile Cookie campaign in 1996 raised funds to support Hamilton Children’s Hospital. Since then, the annual charitable campaign has raised a total of more than $111 million for charities and community groups that are selected every year by Tim Hortons restaurant owners.

In Bruce-Grey, among those sponsored locally are Beavercrest Community School, Meaford Hospital Foundation, Clearview Meadows Elementary School and the Ontario Student Nutrition Program (formerly known as the Breakfast Program). Saugeen Shores Tim Horton’s owner, Dave Falconer says, “It is such a valuable program that gives the kids a good nutritional start to the day and it often struggles for funds.  We have supported the program for several years and are happy to continue.”
