MyChart comes to South Bruce Grey Health Centre sites

South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC) is now offering patients easy access to their personal health information through an online tool called MyChart.

More than 40 hospitals in Ontario now participate in the MyChart program, developed by Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.  MyChart allows patients to view test results from visits to all participating hospitals.

Patients will see results from blood work, medical imaging (x-ray, CT, MRI, etc.), lab results, medications, allergies, microbiology results, discharge summaries from overnight stays, pathology and genetics reports. In addition to viewing information from visits at participating healthcare facilities, patients can enter their own health information (allergies, weight, height, etc.), and share records with family members and other healthcare professionals.

Patients can now sign-up for MyChart by visiting Patient Registration at any of SBGHC’s four hospital sites (Chesley, Durham, Kincardine and Walkerton). Patients must provide their health card, photo ID and a valid e-mail address. Once the information is received by Sunnybrook Health Sciences, the patient will receive a PIN number via email and they will have ten days to complete their registration at www.mychart.ca.

More information related to MyChart, including Frequently Asked Questions and sign-up locations across SBGHC hospitals, is available on SBGHC’s website.

MyChart is also available at Grey Bruce Health Service’s six hospital sites as of December 2019.
