Paramedic Memorial Bell visits Bruce County

Bruce County Paramedic Services reflected with the Memorial Bell this week, in recognition of Canadian paramedics who have fallen in the line of duty or have lost their battle with PTSD and psychological injuries.

In lieu of a Memorial Ride this year, the beautiful Memorial Bell is journeying across Ontario, visiting every ambulance/paramedics service.

Paramedic stations across Bruce County have gotten the opportunity to spend time with the Memorial Bell, ringing the bell to honour each of the 51 names of the Fallen, their families, and all the paramedics, dispatchers, and others serving who have suffered in silence and taken their lives.

The public is encouraged to join paramedics in sharing inspiration on social media to help those suffering with PTSD, letting them know we are here to support them and that they are not alone.
