The Municipality of West Grey is experiencing quite a building boom with three times more building permits issued in 2021 compared to the same quarter in 2020.
West Grey’s Chief Building Official, Karl Schipprack, reported record-breaking building activity in the first quarter of this year.
In addition to the increase in the number of permits issued, the total dollar value has also seen a significant increase at over $12.5 million, compared to $3 million in the same period last year.
“These numbers speak to the vibrancy and appeal of West Grey,” said Mayor Christine Robinson. “We are extremely excited about the development in our community and look forward to welcoming newcomers to West Grey.”
