Two separate traffic fatalities under investigation by OPP

On September 9, 2022, at 8:50 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single motor vehicle collision along Highway 21 in Kincardine Township.

The cyclist, 47-year-old Glendon BOALS of Kincardine, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team are assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.

On September 13, 2022, at 2:53 p.m., the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single motor vehicle collision along Grey County Road 1 in Georgian Bluffs Township.

Officers responded with members of the Grey Bruce OPP Traffic Management Unit (TMU), South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department and Grey County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to find a pick-up truck had left the roadway and collided with a tree.

The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team are assisting the Grey Bruce OPP with this investigation.

Grey County Road 1 is closed around the collision scene for the protection of emergency responders.

The investigation is in its early stages.
