Capturing your Weather at Saugeen District Secondary School in Port Elgin
… while inside young students from G. C. Huston learned all about planting from SDSS Young Growers

The little robins are especially hard hit by this weather as they do not eat birdseed but instead are insect and fruit eaters and with snow blanketing everything, there is none of either around. If you want to help, put out berries (frozen but thawed) such as blueberries and raspberries, thinly sliced/chopped apple and suet for energy. They are particularly vulnerable to the cold as they are beginning to nest and about to lay their eggs.
